SUBSTANCE: group of inventions discloses a composition containing at least one derivative 7β-hydroxycholesterol and a lipid vehicle, the said lipid vehicle comprising vegetable oil or a mixture of vegetable oils, except for the lipid vehicle consisting of lipid vesicles formed from one or more lipid layers, or consisting of phospholipids in non-liposomal form, in which derivative 7β-hydroxycholesterol corresponds to the formula (I), in which: A represents a C(O)R₁ group in which R₁ is a saturated heterocycle containing 5 members and containing 2 oxygen atoms, substituted with at least one linear or branched C₁-C₆alkyl; B is an acyl group in which the alkyl group is C₁-C₆. The group of inventions also relates to a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of multiforme glioblastoma and to a method of preparing the composition.

EFFECT: technical result of the group of inventions is to overcome the obstacle of the hemato-tumor barrier (BTB), to achieve a tumor located in the brain, using a composition containing derivatives of 7β-hydroxycholesterol of formula (I) in a lipid vehicle containing an oil or a mixture of oils.
