FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: used to create sensors for large loads. The strain gauge force sensor contains an elastic element in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped with a through cylindrical hole and a bridge of strain gauges. The elastic element is made in the form of a square parallelepiped with three figured, monolithically connected platforms. Two mentioned platforms are located on the lower side and one is in the upper part of the elastic element, perpendicular to the axis of symmetry of the cylinder. Also, the elastic element is made with two symmetrically located through grooves parallel to the axis of the cylinder. Four half-bridges of strain gauges are located opposite each other, along the generatrices of the cylinder on the back side of the substrate, and on its front side there are half-bridges using two types of adjusting resistors, electrically combined into two parallel bridges.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the sensor, a decrease in its height and an expansion of the measurement range towards greater loads.
