FIELD: biotechnology; metrology.

SUBSTANCE: method for obtaining a biological multi-element reference material for production of standard samples of the composition of liquid biological media containing metals, as well as to a material obtained by the proposed method. Can be used for measuring metal content in medicine, toxicology, veterinary medicine, food industry, forensic medicine, environmental protection. The method includes formation of groups of animals according to the number of toxic metals that are part of the obtained reference material, seeding of animals of different groups with different toxic metals and selection of at least one type of mono-element liquid biological medium from the seeded animals of different groups with the concentration of the corresponding toxic metal set in it , selection of portions of single-element biological media and their use to obtain a multi-element reference material with the required concentration of each of the toxic metals. Each portion of the liquid mono-element biological medium is subjected to freeze drying, the mass of the obtained lyophilisate and the content of toxic metal in it are determined. Samples of the obtained lyophilisates are taken, mixed, and the resulting mixture is dissolved in a given volume of distilled water.

EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to obtain a multi-element reference biological material with a wide concentration range of toxic metals in it.
