SUBSTANCE: additional solution for clinical laboratory diagnostics, namely to the section of cytological diagnostics, used for the diagnosis of tumor and non-tumor human diseases in the process of studying biomaterial containing human cells obtained in various ways. A gel is presented for monolayer distribution of cells in the manufacture of cytological preparations, containing: agar solution, ethanol in the following ratio of components, wt.%: agar solution 70-89, ethanol 11-30, while an agar solution is used, which is 0.06 wt.% aqueous suspension and 95% ethanol.

EFFECT: reduction of the set of gel components to distilled water, agar and 95% alcohol, as well as reduction of the equipment and stages of gel preparation.
