FIELD: spacecraft.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to regeneration life support systems of a closed type, mainly for the crew of a spacecraft. The system comprises a fan, a refrigeration and drying unit, gas and liquid phase separators, pumps, columns with a sorbent for condensate treatment, a conductometric sensor, a regenerated water mineral composition conditioning unit, drinking water containers, and a water distribution and heating unit. After the first pump and before the second specified phase separator, a microwave device is introduced to sterilize the incoming condensate. After the specified conditioning unit and in front of the drinking water containers, a device for treating water with a high-frequency current with simultaneous saturation with silver is connected. A hydrophobic coating, for example, based on fluoroplast, is applied to the inner surfaces of pipelines, assemblies and units of the system.

EFFECT: increasing the service life of columns with a sorbent for cleaning the condensate of atmospheric moisture by ensuring the sterilization of this condensate at the inlet to the system of its regeneration and at the outlet of it.
