FIELD: cryogenic technology; medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: cryotherapy installation contains a cabin including a channel for supplying a nitrogen-air mixture to the cabin located on top, a cooling unit including a gasifier mixer, a fan, a channel for supplying a heated nitrogen-air mixture from the cabin to the gasifier mixer and a channel for supplying liquid nitrogen with a valve, and control unit including controller, valve control relay and fan speed converter. The installation is equipped with a slotted nitrogen-air mixture flow distributor located in the upper part of the cabin with movable guide plates, designed to rotate around an axis located along their upper edge, and a diffuser located in the lower part of the cabin. The gasifier mixer is equipped with a capillary porous coating of internal elements. The control unit is equipped with a module for measuring skin temperature, including a pyrometer located in the housing with the ability to be directed towards the user’s back, and a module for controlling the movement of the plates and at the same time is configured to regulate the mass flow of liquid nitrogen, the fan rotation speed, the direction of the flow of nitrogen-air supplied to the cabin mixture and the duration of its supply depending on skin temperature.
EFFECT: increase of the accuracy of temperature control of the user's skin surface.
