FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, medicine and veterinary medicine, namely to oncology, the development of submersible medical devices for personalized therapy, in particular for local cytoreductive therapy of patients with solid tumors. A biodegradable metal implant for local immunotherapy of patients with solid tumors is a scaffold made of a biodegradable magnesium-based alloy after intensive plastic deformation, made in the form of a hollow rod with a longitudinal slit forming a reservoir for the active composition filled with a cell-mobilizing medium based on hydrogel, a biomedical cell product based on autologous or allogeneic T-lymphocytes and natural killers activated ex vivo.
EFFECT: invention provides targeted transportation and long-term survival of cells deposited in the hydrogel in the area of administration, and also ensures the implementation of prolonged local cytotoxic effects of effector cells on tumor cells by direct cytotoxic effects and activation of specific and non-specific links of the patient’s immunity.
