FIELD: medicine; laboratory diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for preclinical assessment of fibrosis in patients with postmastectomy syndrome. The levels of hyaluronic acid and N-terminal propeptide of procollagen III in blood serum is determined by enzyme immunoassay. If the level of hyaluronic acid is above 11.9 ng/ml and the level of the N-terminal propeptide of procollagen III is above 16.5 ng/ml, soft tissue fibrosis is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method provides objectivity of diagnostics, allows to identify soft tissue fibrosis at the preclinical stage by quantitative analysis of the level of fibrosis molecules in blood serum.
