FIELD: mobile machines.
SUBSTANCE: differential rotation mechanism contains a hydrostatic transmission, an adjustable pump, and an unregulated motor. The unregulated motor is connected through a rotation device to two summing differential mechanisms and a rotation control system. The steering control system consists of a steering control handle, a gyroscopic sensor and a microprocessor control unit. The differential rotation mechanism is also equipped with a magnetic compass, which is connected via electrical connections to the microprocessor unit. The method of controlling the differential rotation mechanism of a mobile machine is to change the position of the swashplate of the hydrostatic transmission pump. The angle between the longitudinal axis of the mobile machine and the direction to the north of the Earth is measured with a compass and the signal that forms the angle of rotation of the swashplate of the hydrostatic transmission pump is calculated.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of working out a given trajectory of a mobile machine is achieved.
