FIELD: materials engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing components containing diamond particles embedded in a matrix of silicon carbide, as well as components that can be obtained by this method. A method for producing a component by an additive manufacturing method includes a step in which the first layer of at least one first material based on silicon carbide is applied, and the next step in which the second layer of at least one second material based on silicon carbide is applied, wherein at least one of the silicon carbide materials contains diamond particles. Diamond particles are the particles selected from the group consisting of diamond nanoparticles, diamond microparticles and mixtures thereof, wherein the diamond nanoparticles are 40 to 160 nm in size and the diamond microparticles are 3 to 300 mcm in size as determined by laser diffractometry. At least the first and/or at least the second material is applied in the form of a slurry. The component obtained by this method preferably has at least a macrostructured surface and/or internal structures, where the macrostructured surface is a surface with protrusions and grooves, and the internal structures are channels.

EFFECT: production of complex structures with high resolution and stable dimensions.
