SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing milk powder or whey. A method of producing milk powder or whey (800, 801, 802) is proposed, the method includes at least the following steps: I. Providing milk in the form of skim milk (800), whole milk (801) or whey (802). II. Condensation of milk or whey through a first evaporation process (400, 401, 402) or a first evaporation process (400, 401, 402) and a second evaporation process (600, 601, 602). III. Drying (700, 701, 702) condensed milk or whey to obtain milk powder or whey (800, 801, 802); wherein after the first or after the first and second evaporation processes (400, 401, 402, 600, 601, 602), sterilization (501, 502) of milk or whey is performed using a centrifugal separator (2) to remove microbes, and sterilization (501, 502) is performed by at least two microbial removal separators that are connected in series with each other to further reduce the number of microbes, or sterilization (501, 502) is performed by at least two microbial separators connected in parallel with each other, each of at least two microbial removal separators configured to be cleaned separately in a clean-in-place process (CIP process).

EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the technological efficiency of the method of producing milk powder products.
