FIELD: system for measuring tire slippage.
SUBSTANCE: present invention is related to a system for measuring the slippage of a tire (10) relative to the rim (20) on which said tire (10) is mounted. In particular, the system contains a first electronic device (1) and a second electronic device (2), each of which is configured to at least receive, filter, store and send data, and a processing unit (3) external to said electronic devices (1, 2), configured to at least receive and process data sent by each electronic device (1, 2) to measure said slippage by measuring the angle (α) and comparing the value of this angle relative to the reference angle αref. The present invention is also related to a method for measuring the slippage of a tire (10) relative to a rim (20) on which said tire (10) is mounted.
EFFECT: ability to take measurements during tire operation.
