FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for preoperative calibration of an ophthalmic laser for corneal ablation. A method of calibrating an ophthalmic laser for corneal photoablation involves performing a control phototherapeutic keratectomy with a spot of at least 6.0 mm in diameter on a multilayer test object, for example black multilayer photographic paper, until a yellow spot appears and visually comparing it with the test calibration spot. Additionally, photorefractive keratectomy is performed with a spot with an optical zone of at least 6.0 mm on a multilayer test object, for example, black multilayer photographic paper. The test and control calibration spots are scanned with a color sensor after phototherapeutic and photorefractive keratectomy, and their comparative analysis is performed by color and image shape using computer programs. If there is a difference, the amount of stabilizing laser energy is either added or decreased. If the control and test spots match, the calibration is completed.
EFFECT: obtaining a method of calibrating ophthalmological laser for cornea ablation.
