SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a beverage preparation device (100) for preparing a beverage by reacting ingredients contained in a capsule (5) with a liquid supplied thereto, the device comprising an injection module (10) containing a first (1) and interacting with it, second (2) female elements configured to move relative to each other, and the first female element is equipped with capsule opening and injection means (3) for opening the first inlet surface (5a) of the capsule (5) and injecting liquid into the capsule, the first and the second female elements (1, 2) are configured to be brought to at least a first capsule insertion position for inserting a capsule between the female elements (1, 2) and a second capsule envelopment position, in which the opening and injection means (3) engage the inlet surface (5a) of the capsule (5) for injecting liquid, wherein the device (100) further comprises control means (13) configured to set at least the position of the capsule's coverage based on information read from the capsule and/or based on information provided by the user by entering data.

EFFECT: design of the claimed device allows for the process of opening and subsequent injection with optimal parameters of injection and/or extraction of the drink for different capsules, including, for example, capsules with different body materials, different capsule sizes, different degrees of filling and/or compaction, and/or with ingredients of various granulometric compositions.
