FIELD: nuclear industry.

SUBSTANCE: melt localization devices, in particular sacrificial fillers intended for receiving and distributing the melt of a nuclear reactor core. The body of the melt localization device contains an outer shell and an inner shell, forming a crucible-shaped container designed to receive the melt, a thermal protection installed in the upper part of the body on the inside of the inner shell, and water supply valves. An insert is installed in the thermal protection hole, containing a first compartment, inside which a second compartment, at least one third compartment, and a fourth compartment are located. And the third compartment and the fourth compartment are placed in such a way that the fourth compartment is connected to the second compartment through the first hole. At least one third compartment is connected to the fourth compartment through at least one second opening. On one side, the first compartment and the second compartment are connected by a first plate. On the other hand, the first compartment, the second compartment, the third compartment are connected by a second plate in which at least one fourth hole is made for connecting the fourth compartment with the internal space of the body of the melt localization device.
