FIELD: oil production industry.
SUBSTANCE: monitoring the development of oil fields using field geophysical methods of well exploration, used to assess the nature of formation saturation. A method for determining the intervals of fluid inflow from a formation into the wellbore of a production well, including conducting a series of time temperature measurements with subsequent comparison of the obtained thermograms during the well performance; the registration of the thermogram is carried out in a shut-in well before heating the casing throughout the entire expected interval of fluid influx; then induction heating of the casing is carried out when lowering the induction heater at a speed that ensures uniform heating of the casing and is determined from the condition v<L*a/R2, where v is the speed of movement of the induction heater, m/h ; L is the length of the proposed interval, m; a is the thermal diffusivity of the medium, m2/h; R is the well radius, m; and record the temperature of the casing wall with distributed pressure temperature sensors, in the expected inflow interval on the rise after putting the well into performance, for a time of no more than t<R2/a, where R is the radius of the well, m; a is the thermal diffusivity of the medium, m2/hour, and the intervals of fluid inflow into the well are judged by the presence of cooling anomalies in thermograms.
EFFECT: proposed method makes it possible to reliably estimate the saturation of the formation, regardless of the initial value of the saturation pressure of oil with gas, and efficiency is achieved by reducing operations at the well: it is enough to reduce the pressure in the well below the saturation pressure.
