FIELD: pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to positive displacement hydraulic pumps with rotating external working bodies and can be used in oil systems of aircraft gas turbine engines for supplying and pumping out oil. A combined centrifugal-gear pump comprises gears installed on shafts, consisting of a ring gear and a hub, and also equipped with centrifugal wheels with disks at the ends facing the inlet, and with thrust bearings at the back, elements for fixing and fastening the centrifugal wheel to the gear and elements for torque transmission from shaft to gear. The centrifugal gear pump comprises through holes made with an inclination relative to the shaft rotation axis in a range of angles (38÷45)° and passing in the gear between the ring gear and the hub, and in the centrifugal wheel through the disk. Each centrifugal wheel is fixed and secured relative to the gear by cylindrical pins with a length exceeding the diameter by at least three times, installed with interference fit in the through holes. The shaft is located inside the disk so that its side surface blocks the exit from the through holes in the disk inside the pump, and the thrust bearing with its end adjacent to the back side of the gear blocks the exit from the through holes in the gear hub to the outside of the pump, and the torque transmission elements are located on the shaft and gear.
EFFECT: simplified design of a centrifugal gear pump by combining the functions of preventing rotation and fastening the centrifugal wheel and gear in a single structural element, as well as increasing the reliability of the pump by placing torque transmission elements on the shaft and hub of the gear.
