FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing the stator of an electric machine with an axial magnetic flux includes manufacturing individual segments by cutting coiled cold-rolled electrical steel into strips and assembling the segments. Strips of constant width are glued using the equipment into a package of height h, offset along the long side by an angle α, equal to the angle at the wide base of the stator segment in which cuts are made using the electroerosive method. The outermost strip of the package remains uncut; even and odd cuts are made on the opposite sides at a specified distance. Then the package is folded in a zigzag fashion along the cut lines, bending the uncut strip of the package, glued at the joints, compressed and secured to form a trapezoidal stator segment. The height h of the package and the number of its cuts are determined from the equality of the areas of the stator segment and the strip of cold-rolled electrical steel, the length of which corresponds to the width of the cold-rolled electrical steel in the coil.

EFFECT: increased material utilization rate.
