FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method of replacing bone defects involves installing a replacement substrate in place of the missing bone tissue, with the shape and size corresponding to the shape and size of the missing part of the bone. At the site of installation of the replacement substrate and/or in the bone adjacent to the replacement area, at least one electret implant is installed and fixed. The electret implant for implementing the above method has a shape and dimensions corresponding to the shape and dimensions of a pre-made channel in the bone.
EFFECT: inventions make it possible to reduce the time required to transform the replacement composition onto the patient’s authentic bone, allowing the treatment period to be reduced to 3 months, which creates good prospects for widespread implementation of the method in medical practice in all cases where restoration of lost bone tissue is required.
