FIELD: medicine; cardiology; hepatology; oncology; clinical diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: value of the initial liver elastometry index, kPa, is obtained. Then the diameter of the inferior vena cava at the porta hepatis, the diameter of the right hepatic vein, the ejection fraction of the left ventricle, the size of the right atrium, and the oblique vertical size of the right lobe of the liver are determined. Their deviations from the norm (DON) are determined. The average value of PON of all indicators is calculated and converted to kPa. Using the developed formula, the true elastometry result is calculated.
EFFECT: method allows to obtain the most accurate elastometry result, which improves the prognosis of the disease, improves the patient’s quality of life and stabilizes the patient’s objective status.
