The forming installation includes a forming device with a tubular element configured to form a continuous rod material into a continuous tubular rod. The moulding device includes a fluid compressor for generating pressurized fluid, wherein the fluid compressor is in fluid communication with the tubular member to supply pressurized fluid to the continuous tubular rod for heating or cooling the continuous tubular rod. The moulding device further comprises a plurality of fluid passages for supplying pressurized fluid from the fluid compressor to a plurality of injection points located along the conveying path, wherein at least two fluid passages of the plurality of fluid passages comprise a pressure control unit comprising pressure sensor and device that influences pressure.
