SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an apparatus for forming a substantially flat continuous material having a glass transition temperature lower than 150 degrees Celsius, which comprises a molding device for collecting a substantially flat continuous material across the longitudinal direction of the continuous material to form an assembled continuous material, wherein substantially flat continuous material has glass transition temperature lower than 150 degrees Celsius; cooling device for cooling of collected continuous material, wherein molding device and cooling device are combined with the possibility of immediate cooling of the assembled continuous material, wherein the molding device contains at least a static molding element, static relative to direction of transportation of substantially flat continuous material, wherein the static molding element is a shape cone for forming a rod-shaped assembled continuous material, wherein cooling device is located next to outlet hole of formatted cone, and cooling device comprises contact surface for contacting, and thus cooling, with rod-like assembled continuous material, and wherein contact surface has concave shape and shape of cooling surface varies along length of cooling device.
EFFECT: technical result consists in possibility of material molding.
