FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of sampling, detection, analysis in biochemical research and options of their use. The following is presented: a device for analyzing an analyte in a sample comprising a first plate and a second plate moved relative to each other in different configurations. One or both plates are flexible, on the corresponding surface of each plate there is a contact area with the sample containing the analyte. The plates contain spacers fixed to a corresponding plate, wherein the spacers have a column shape, a flat top surface, a predetermined uniform height and a predetermined constant distance between the spacers. At least one of the separators is located inside the area of contact with the sample. The fourth power of the interspacer distance (ISD) divided by the thickness (h) of the flexible plate and the Young's modulus (E) of the flexible plate, ISD4/(hE), is equal to or less than 5x106 mcm3/GPa; and the thickness of the flexible plate multiplied by the Young's modulus of the flexible plate is between 60 and 750 GPa-mcm. One configuration is an open configuration in which the two plates are separated from each other, the space between the plates is not controlled by spacers, and the sample is applied either to one or both plates. Another configuration is a closed configuration, which is configured after application of the sample in an open configuration. At least part of the sample is compressed by two plates into a layer of uniform thickness and is motionless with respect to the plates. The uniform layer thickness is limited to the inner surfaces of the two plates and is controlled by the plates and spacers and has an average thickness equal to or less than 200 mcm. The following is also presented: a system for accelerated analysis of a sample using a mobile communication device, a method of accelerated analysis of an analyte in a sample, a method of accelerated analysis of an analyte in a sample using a mobile communication device, and a method of analyzing a sample.
EFFECT: simplification, acceleration and increased reliability of analysis with high sensitivity are achieved.
