FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to autonomous uninhabited underwater self-propelled vehicles for exploring water areas. The gliding underwater vehicle includes a disk-shaped body, a buoyancy control system consisting of hydraulic cylinders located symmetrically relative to the vertical axis of symmetry of the gliding underwater vehicle, as well as a fine trim system consisting of trim weights installed with the ability to move along guide rods located symmetrically relative to the vertical axis of symmetry gliding underwater vehicle. At the same time, in the disk-shaped body near the outer contour, profiled ring-shaped grooves having a variable radius of curvature are created symmetrically on its upper and lower parts.
EFFECT: safe control of the gliding underwater vehicle, reliability and survivability when performing complex manoeuvering are achieved, thereby reducing the likelihood of navigation accidents.
