SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of obtaining a population of dopaminergic neurons from the substantia nigra of mice. This method involves obtaining substantia nigra tissue from mice, incubating the resulting tissue with the GBR-BP dye, dissociating the stained tissue to obtain a cell suspension with partially dissociated tissue, incubating the resulting cell suspension with partially dissociated tissue together with DRAQ5 and GBR-BP dyes, repeated dissociation stained cell suspension with partially dissociated tissue to obtain a stained cell suspension and isolating DRAQ5+/GBR-BP+ cells from the resulting stained cell suspension.

EFFECT: invention is used to increase the efficiency of obtaining a population of dopaminergic neurons.
