FIELD: radio electronics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of compact units of radio-electronic equipment (RES) located in various facilities. The radio-electronic unit comprises an air-cooling system, which includes the unit housing itself, with one or more fuel elements enclosed in it, in which there is an inlet window for supplying a cooling air flow, as well as air ducts for air outlet beyond the outer panel top wall and side air duct windows. The unit body has radiator units (RU) on the outer sides of its right and left side walls and has protective covers on the outside, designed to allow a cooling air flow to pass between them and the said side walls, and the side air duct windows are made offset along the height of the side walls. The inlet window goes into a receiving chamber located in the rear part of the housing and is elongated along the outer panel of its rear wall, and the receiving chamber is symmetrically coupled with the right and left side walls of the housing, on the outer sides of which there are right and left side cooling channels, coupled with the wall of the receiving chamber facing them, passing into the corresponding vertical cooling channels, forming radiators, grouped into the mentioned RUs of various sizes. The right and left RUs are separated by load-bearing ribs, on which protective covers are attached on both sides of the block, in contact with these RUs, and forming the mentioned air ducts of various lengths on the outer panel of the upper wall of the housing for air to escape beyond its limits, as well as side air duct windows. Moreover, on the inner sides of the side walls in the RU zone there are one or several protrusions of various sizes, which are in thermal contact with the fuel elements, while the area of each of the RUs is greater than or equal to the area of the corresponding protrusion.
EFFECT: creating an air-cooling system for a RES unit, which ensures effective heat removal from the most heat-generating elements located on the printed circuit boards of said unit, without increasing its weight and dimensions and ensuring the possibility of the unit operating in a wide range of climatic influences.
