SUBSTANCE: method of producing bacterial cellulose which includes cultivating the producer on a nutrient medium with subsequent separation of bacterial cellulose from the culture liquid up to eleven times with a single loading of the nutrient medium. The resulting gel films are treated with sodium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid, and washed with water; then sterilized and packaged.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the yield of the target product from a unit of production equipment with a single loading of the nutrient medium.
