FIELD: electric engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pole tripping booster mechanism for a four-pole low voltage circuit breaker. The booster mechanism contains: the first working element configured to be functionally connected to the operating shaft of the circuit breaker and move along with said shaft during its rotation from an open position to a closed position, and vice versa, of said circuit breaker in a range of movement including the first one, second and third moving sections, where the first working element has the first working end; a working unit containing at least an elastic element functionally connected to the lever, wherein the first working element is disconnected from the specified working unit in the specified first section of its movement and is in contact with the specified lever in the specified second and third sections of its movement. During the closing operation of said circuit breaker, said first operating element initially moves along said first movement portion while being driven by said operating shaft and is disconnected from said operating unit, then moves along said second movement portion while being driven by said operating shaft and being in contact with said lever, and transmits energy to said operating unit; and finally moves along said third moving portion while being driven by said lever and transmits energy to said operating shaft.
EFFECT: ensuring a balanced distribution of forces along the main drive shaft and its components.
