SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of obtaining a vacuum-tight high-temperature ceramic-metal bonding and can be used for hermetically sealing complex equipment elements, the elements of which are made of dissimilar materials, in particular from corundum ceramics and non-magnetic steel, for example, in the design of a rotary controlled system. The method of diffusion welding of corundum ceramics with non-magnetic steel involves assembling elements made of the specified materials with placing an intermediate spacer made of aluminium foil between them, followed by the assembly welding process. Aluminium foil is used as an intermediate gasket. The assembly welding process is carried out in a sealed chamber at a residual argon gas pressure of 10-2-10-3 Pa using a focused electron beam with a spot resolution of 2-3 mm while heating the welded joint by cyclically scanning the electron beam spot with a gradual increase in source power to the operating power, providing a temperature of 1020-1050 in the contact spot° C. The duration of heating, the duration of maximum heat input and the gradual decrease in beam power are 15, 20 and 15 minutes, respectively. The surfaces of the elements to be welded are processed to a roughness of Ra 1.6, and then cleaned in ethanol.

EFFECT: it is ensured that a vacuum-tight, high-temperature bonding is obtained, ensuring tightness and resistance to operation at temperatures from minus 20 to 200 degrees, as well as providing the necessary strength to the welding joint.
