SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of the production of compositions containing zolmitriptan, a hypnotic (sedative) medicinal product for the treatment of the nervous system. The pharmaceutical composition contains zolmitriptan as the main active substance in an amount of 2.5 mg and excipients in the form of anhydrous lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium carboxymethyl starch, magnesium stearate and made in the form of a film-coated tablet, characterized by the film shell being made applying a film-forming composition containing the following substances, taken in certain quantities: hypromellose (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), magnesium carbonate light, calcium carbonate, macrogol 6000 (polyethylene glycol 6000, talc, yellow iron oxide E 172.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of creating a pharmaceutical composition containing zolmitriptan, without the use of titanium dioxide to reduce the negative impact on the human body using the specified pharmaceutical composition, and on people involved in the production of the specified pharmaceutical composition, and the production technology of such a composition
