SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing organic salts N1-(2,3,4-trimethoxybenzyl)-N2-{2-[(2,3,4-trimethoxybenzyl)amino]ethyl}-1,2-ethane-diamine of the general formula
where n=1.5-2; R-C(O)OH=citric or succinic acid, the base which is N1-(2,3,4-trimethoxybenzyl)-N2-{2-[(2,3,4-trimethoxybenzyl)amino ]ethyl}-1,2-ethanediamine reacts with an excess of organic acid, such as succinic or citric acid, in solutions of such alcohols as ethanol or isopropanol upon heating, followed by filtration of the precipitate of the desired salt.
EFFECT: development of a method of producing new salts N1-(2,3,4-trimethoxybenzyl)-N2-{2-[(2,3,4-trimethoxybenzyl)amino]ethyl}-1,2-ethane-diamine, namely, succinate and citrate, which are low-toxic and can be used in medicine as agents with cardiotropic activity.
