SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of obtaining a cell population containing cardiomyocytes, including (1) the stage of contact of a receptor-type tyrosine kinase inhibitor (except for EGF receptor inhibitors) with a cell population containing cardiomyocytes or cardiac progenitor cells, and other cells, where the cell population is obtained by culturing pluripotent stem cells in cardiomyocyte differentiation medium, and (2) a cell population culturing step.
EFFECT: obtaining a population of cells suitable for transplantation therapy of heart diseases and screening of therapeutic agents for heart diseases.
