FIELD: telemetry.
SUBSTANCE: on the transmitting side, a primary signal is formed, a sequence of samples of the primary signal is formed using a sampler, and (2n+1), (2n-1), 2n and (2n-1)/2 threshold levels are formed using the first threshold level generator, the values of which are uniformly distributed within the scale of values of the primary signal, and fed to the reference inputs of the generators of the first and the second sequences of the transmitted samples, with the help of which the sequence of samples of the primary signal is converted into two sequences of transmitted samples, which are transmitted over the communication channel to the receiving side. On the receiving side, the received sequences of samples are received, using the second threshold level generator, 2n positive and 2n negative threshold levels are formed, the absolute values of which are uniformly distributed within the scale of the primary signal values, using the first and the second converters and the values of the received samples, the value of each sample in the two received sequences of samples is attenuated, the values of all the attenuated samples are quantized, and, using a converter of the values of the quantized samples, a sequence of reconstructed samples of the primary signal is formed by converting the values of the first and the second sequences of quantized attenuated samples, then the primary signal is restored using a low-pass filter and fed it to information recipient input 12.
