FIELD: metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to processing of metals by pressure and can be used to produce shells with complex profiles. The first version the method involves installing the workpiece at the end of a profile mandrel with “cone-cone-cylinder” sections, fixing the workpiece with a clamp and bringing it into contact from the spindle side with an anti-squeeze device. The profile of the part is formed using a pressing tool in the form of at least two mirror-mounted rolling rollers. In one pass of the tool, the first conical section of the workpiece is drawn. Next, the second conical section of the workpiece is drawn in a cyclic mode. Then they begin to draw the cylindrical section in a cyclic mode and perform a calibrating passage of the tool along the entire cylindrical section. In accordance with the second version of the method, a hollow thin-walled part in the form of a “cone-cylinder” with a cone angle of α>52° is obtained. In the third version of the method, a hollow thin-walled part in the form of a “cone-cylinder” with a cone angle of β<45° is obtained.
EFFECT: quality of manufacturing hollow, thin-walled, complex-profile parts on lathes with a CNC system is improved.
