FIELD: flow cells and methods for their manufacture.
SUBSTANCE: flow cell comprises a carrier frame comprising an upper side, a rear side and at least one cavity extending partially or completely from the upper side towards the lower side, the carrier frame additionally comprising at least one electrically conductive jumper extending from the upper side to the bottom side; at least one light detecting device located within said at least one cavity, comprising an active zone and an upper surface, wherein said at least one light detecting device is at least one solid-state light detecting device, including a base plate, a device circuit electrically connected to the plurality of photosensitive elements, capable of transmitting data signals based on the results of photon detection by said plurality of photosensitive elements, and a plurality of light guides corresponding to the plurality of photosensitive elements; a carrier material located within said at least one cavity between the carrier frame and the boundary of said at least one light detecting device, connecting the carrier frame to each other, and this is at least one light detecting device; and a cover extending over said at least one light detecting device and connected to the upper side of the supporting frame along the border of said at least one light detecting device, wherein the cover and at least the upper surface of said at least one light detecting device form between themselves flow channel, wherein said device circuit of said at least one solid-state light detection device is electrically connected to said at least one electrically conductive jumper at the upper side of the carrier frame, wherein the flow cell further comprises electrical contacts at least partially located along the rear side of the carrier frame and electrically connected to the specified at least one electrically conductive jumper.
EFFECT: increase in the active zone of the biosensor.
