SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to means of physiotherapy exercises, the integrated use of which will make it possible to slow down the progress of the disease, thereby avoiding or delaying hip replacement in deforming arthrosis in elderly patients. Invention can be used in medical institutions, in health resorts, as well as at home for restoring mobility of hip joints. Performing physical exercises in the form of exercises conducted independently for 16 weeks, including: sessions 3 times a week on week days, in which each session includes three consecutive complexes, performed in different initial positions, wherein the first is a set of exercises for stretching deep muscles of the spine, second is a set of exercises for increasing mobility and range of motion of hip joints, the third is a set of pelvic and gait correction exercises, exercises conducted daily 1 hour before bedtime in the form of only one set of exercises for stretching the deep muscles of the spine, as well as exercises conducted on days when three consecutive complexes are not performed, after morning awakening in the form of walking on all fours for 10 minutes.

EFFECT: method provides increased mobility and range of mobility of hip joint, as well as statodynamic function of the extremity as a whole, which will help to slow down the development of the disease and avoid or delay the surgical intervention.
