FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to neurology, and can be used for objective assessment of vegetative disorders in adolescents suffering COVID-19. During the mental load in form of 6 multiplication tasks, the ratio of the pre-task pupil diameter to the pupil diameter during task performance (CRPD) is assessed as a percentage. Measurements are carried out during 1st second when the task is read out, and during its execution, starting from 2nd second for 30 s. With CRPD above 98.5%, the presence of VD in the adolescent is assessed; with CRPD of 98.5% and below, the absence of VD is assessed.

EFFECT: method is accessible, non-invasive and provides higher accuracy of diagnosis of vegetative disorders in adolescents.
