FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerosol delivery devices and methods for control of such devices. The aerosol delivery device contains a coil, a heating element heated by it for heating aerosol-forming material for a given period of time, an indicator node, and a controller made with the possibility of actuation of the coil for heating of the heating element and actuation of the indicator node indicating that the device has stopped operation or is going to stop operation for the specified given period of time after the actuation of the coil, before heating of aerosol-forming material. A method for control of such an aerosol delivery device is also described.
EFFECT: possibility of tobacco combustion without burning.
