FIELD: biotechnology; veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing microcapsules of vetosporin in polyvinylpyrrolidone characterized by mixing the vetosporin probiotic with an equal volume of 50% solution of polyvinylpyrrolidone and using a device for microencapsulation of liquid substances, having 20 droppers, from a height of 20–25 cm of the resulting mixture is dispersed at a speed of 2.0 ml/min in 50–100 ml of 25–30% aqueous tannin with constant stirring at a stirrer speed of 100–150 rpm for 20–25 minutes until constant suspensions, the formed microcapsules are separated by filtration using a Schott filter, washed and dried at 30–35°C.
EFFECT: production of microcapsules of vetosporin in polyvinylpyrrolidone with a yield of microcapsules of 90–96%, having stable dimensions of 0.65–0.80 mm, resistant to the acidic environment of the stomach and including a high content of probiotic bacteria.
