FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and veterinary medicine, namely to a method for microencapsulation of sex pheromones in boars. Method for microencapsulation of sex pheromones of boar, including the use of an odorant substance as a microcapsule nucleus, characterized by that the odorant substance used is natural sex pheromones of a boar, and as a shell - polyvinylpyrrolidone, 50 g of sex pheromones of boar are introduced into an equal amount of 50% aqueous solution of polyvinylpyrrolidone, 0.1 ml of aroma fixer AromaFix is added and mixed until homogeneous state, then using a dosing device from height of 20–25 cm by identical drops from 8 droppers simultaneously obtained mixture is dispersed in 100–150 ml of 0.2 M of calcium chloride solution at rate of 2.0 ml/min, wherein the dispersion process is carried out with constant stirring at a mixer rotation speed of 100–120 rpm for 20–25 minutes, the formed microcapsules are separated on a Schott filter under vacuum, washed with distilled water and dried at 30–35 °C.

EFFECT: above described method enables to obtain microcapsules of sex pheromones of boar of stable size with increased storage life, high biological activity.
