FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmosurgery. Anterior caspulorexis is performed, lens is aspirated, viscoelastic is introduced. A corneal incision 2.2 mm wide at 11 o'clock is made; an elastic intraocular three-part lens is inserted into a cartridge and implanted into a capsular sac by means of an injector system. Further, a posterior capsulotomy is performed in an optical zone with diameter of 4.50–5.0 mm using 25G vitreous cutter, and the IOL optics is repositioned into the posterior capsulotomy opening.
EFFECT: method enables preventing secondary cataract in children, preventing migration and growth of epithelial cells, provide stable position of three-part posterior chamber IOL, prevents formation of secondary cataract, as well as capsular sac contracture.
