FIELD: film coating.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a method for ion-plasma application of a corrosion-resistant film coating on products made of zirconium alloy. The products are placed vertically in a planetary carousel mechanism and heated by heaters located along the entire length of the products to a temperature of 150-600°C. Ion etching, activation of the surface of products using water-cooled unbalanced magnetrons and additional activation using an ion source generating gas ions at an accelerating voltage of up to 5000 V are carried out. Said coating is applied via the simultaneous use of unbalanced magnetrons and balanced magnetrons with a residual magnetic field induction from 0.03 to 0.1 T, with a discharge power density of each unbalanced magnetron ranging from 5 to 80 W/cm2 and a discharge power density of each balanced magnetron ranging from 40 to 600 W/cm2. In the process of applying a corrosion-resistant film coating, the product is heated to a temperature of 150-600°C.
EFFECT: uniform thickness of said coating is ensured over the outer surface of products made of zirconium alloys, increasing the productivity and quality of the applied coatings.
