FIELD: control systems; technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automated process control systems and can be used to determine reverse spin-up of a gas pumping unit (hereinafter referred to as GPU) supercharger rotor during emergency shutdowns. Objective of the invention is automatic diagnostics of parameters of emergency shutdowns of the GPU in order to detect reverse spinning of the GPU supercharger. Set task is solved, and the technical result is achieved by introducing into the software of the automatic control system of the GPU of the algorithm for diagnosing the reverse spin-up of the rotor of the GPU supercharger by analysing the change in the measured parameters of the operation of the elements of the GPU from sensor equipment, consisting of a unit for monitoring the operating mode of the unit and in case of occurrence of mode "Emergency shutdown of GPU" start of two units of analysis of change of speed of power turbine, unit analysing derivative of speed of rotation of power turbine at reduction of speed, unit analysing derivative of power turbine rotation speed in 4 seconds from the moment of occurrence of "Emergency shutdown of GPU" mode.

EFFECT: notification of the operator on occurrence of the fact of reverse spinning of the supercharger rotor, guaranteed fixation of this event in the archives of the automatic control system of the GPU.
