FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to oncology and otorhinolaryngology. An ultrasound scan is performed from the sublingual region to the jugular fossa and the localization and extent of the tumor process are determined. Under local anesthesia under ultrasound control, a guide needle is inserted with a diagnostic probe of the EnSpectr-M hardware-software complex placed in its lumen to the border of the neoplasm closest to the ultrasound sensor and then through the neoplasm to its most remote area. Then the guide needle is displaced in the opposite direction by 0.5 cm. The scanning surface of the diagnostic probe is pulled out of the needle by 1-2 mm and the tissues are contact-irradiated with laser radiation with a wavelength of 350 nm. The tissue fluorescence intensity is recorded in the wavelength range of 600-650 nm. Next, the guide needle with the diagnostic probe is shifted another 0.5 cm in the opposite direction and the tissues are also irradiated and their fluorescence spectrum is recorded. The steps are repeated until the probe reaches the border of the neoplasm closest to the ultrasound probe. Based on the obtained data on the intensity of fluorescence in each of the studied points, the point of the highest fluorescence of the tissue is determined. Under the control of an ultrasound sensor, a harpoon biopsy is performed at a certain point of the greatest fluorescence.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to eliminate the need for an additional puncture of the neoplasm to collect diagnostic material, reduce the risk of injury to tissues adjacent to the tumor, and increase the accuracy of manipulation.
