FIELD: wireless communication.
SUBSTANCE: technical result is achieved by the fact that control of transmission power by a user terminal (UE) of an uplink (UL) comprises breaking down a transmission-reception point (TRP) of an available frequency band into a plurality of sub-bands, to be used in frequency-selective control of UL transmission power, determination of transmission power adjustment values for each subband obtained by splitting, and transmitting to the UE the determined split ranges and the corresponding transmission power adjustment values for these sub-ranges for subsequent use thereof.
EFFECT: reduced inter-cell interference and high efficiency of user terminals located close to cell boundaries.
