FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in additive manufacturing of parts by electron-beam surfacing with on-line control of the position of the filler wire relative to the electron beam. Melt bath is formed by electron-beam gun at its movement along trajectory of surfacing with supply of filler wire. Wire feed assembly is rotated around the electron beam at a given angle by means of a brush-collector assembly, which axial support is fixed relative to electron-beam gun, and on external part there is a wire feed unit. Manipulator is used to move along the build-up trajectory. Outer part of brush-collector assembly is connected by gear transmission with electric motor installed on support bracket of electron-beam gun. Wire feed unit is made up of reels with braking device and wire feed mechanism with nozzle. Wire feeder is made in the form of feed rollers with grooves connected to the gear unit.
EFFECT: providing uniformity of a weld along a complex spatial trajectory of deposition due to an unlimited angle of rotation of the wire around the beam of the electron-beam gun.
