FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in additive manufacturing of parts for in-process monitoring of filler wire position relative to electron beam during electron-beam surfacing or layer-by-layer synthesis of articles with wire materials. Filler wire feeder comprises a feed unit and a brush-collector unit, the axial support of which is fixed relative to the electron-beam gun, and the outer part is installed with possibility of rotation. Filler wire feed unit is mounted on the outer part of the brush-collector unit with the possibility of changing the angle of rotation of the filler wire around the electron beam. Outer part of brush-collector assembly is made with possibility of connection with electric motor. On the bracket there is a coil with a filler wire, which is equipped with a braking device, and a mechanism for feeding a filler wire connected to the nozzle, which is made with the possibility of adjusting its position in the vertical and horizontal planes to change the position of the nozzle during surfacing.
EFFECT: providing uniformity of a weld along a complex spatial trajectory of surfacing due to an unlimited angle of rotation of the wire around the beam of the electron-beam gun.
