SUBSTANCE: device for lubricating a cable or wire of an overhead power line contains an unmanned aerial vehicle. Unmanned aerial vehicle comprises a housing. On the housing there is a device for movement along a cable or wire (15), a chamber in which there are nozzles (8) with a hose supplied to them from a pump for supply of lubricant from a tank located in lower part (3) of the chamber. In the upper part of the chamber there is slot (14) for insertion of a cable or wire (15) inside the chamber. Chamber is equipped with filter (5). Lower (3) and upper (1) parts of the chamber are attached to each other with a gap, in which there is middle part (2) of the chamber, freely movable along the vertical.
