SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a recombinant strain of vaccinia virus VV-mNIS-NS1, used for therapy and diagnosis of human tumours, comprising a transgene of oncotoxic protein NS1 of parvovirus H-1 and mNIS transgene having an artificial nucleotide sequence SEQ ID NO: 1 and containing a synthetic mouse sodium iodide symporter mNIS gene. Strain is deposited in the State collection of viral infectious agents and rickettsial infections of the Federal Budget Institution of Science of State Research Centre of Virology and Biotechnology VECTOR of The Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare under number V-1206.
