FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of gluing surfaces and can be used for gluing optical parts, particularly spectacle lenses. Optical adhesive contains a base and a hardener: polyoxypropyleneamine and a liquid photostable additive 2-oxy-4-alkoxy benzophenone. Base used is a mixture of epoxy resin UP 631 and diglycidyl ether of 1,4-butanediol.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce Fresnel reflection in spectacle lenses glued using the disclosed glue, as well as to increase transmission and photostability of spectacle lenses while simultaneously improving eye protection from dangerous UV radiation.
